For its 2020 Festival, the Jockey Club Local Creative Talents Series has commissioned an original Cantonese chamber opera - Women Like Us, and a music theatre - Journey to the West Rewind. 

Women Like Us, 11/1 (SAT) 3:00 – 6:00PM
Wong Yi (Librettist, Women Like Us) and Lawrence Pun Kwok-ling (Cultural Critic) will explore Xi Xi’s A Girl Like Me and The Cold while discussing Wong’s very first experience in adapting literature for opera. 

Journey to the West Rewind, 19/1 (SUN) 3:00 – 4:30PM
Kong Chun-kit (Scriptwriter & Composer) and Ata Wong (Director) will share the development process of Journey to the West Rewind and the challenges on their reinvestigation of traditional art form.
