Azari Plissetski is one of ballet’s most respected choreographers, dancers and teachers. His career as a dancer spans over 20 years, having performed for the Bolshoi Ballet and the Ballet Nacional de Cuba. Since 1991, he has taught at the Béjart Ballet Lausanne and the Rudra Béjart School Lausanne, and is regularly invited to teach at prestigious institutions like the Mariinsky, Mikhailovsky and the Bolshoi Ballets in Russia, as well as the Baryshnikov Arts Center, the New York City Ballet and the American Ballet Theatre in the USA.
