Watch This is a theatrical magic project that is part delight, part warning. Through a series of seemingly impossible feats of magic and mind control, award-winning magician Micky Wong and scriptwriter Franco Chan invite you to participate in the mysterious, lucrative business of psychological manipulation, sharing some secrets of persuasion and influence along the way. In the process, the show may reveal some of the "magicians" around us in politics and marketing.

Coming from the profession of conjuring arts, Micky’s relationship with the stage began as a magician.Micky is a performer of “interactive style” close-up magic, where the audience sits at close range and experiences effects through participation.
In 2014, Micky created his award-winning original solo piece—“Optical illusions”, winning him the 2-time “Asia Champion of Magic” title in both of Asia’s most prestigious Magic Organisations. In the following year, he was also invited as a TEDx speaker to share his insights on Cognitive illusions and Magic. He is currently a Programme Director of the Professional Diploma of Close-up Magic at MacMillian’s International Magic in London.
Micky is also a magic consultant for both theatrical productions and cinematic work. Notable works include the 2018 movie “Project Gutenberg”, the opening performance for the 36th Hong Kong Film Awards Ceremony, and the official magic segment for CCTV National Spring Gala 2015.
This unique theatrical magic showcase allowed the magician's tools to have a new role in the world of immersive theatre, both in creative and technical aspects.
